Helping Australia's Precious Wildlife recover from the Bushfires
Whilst we’ve been focused on helping Aussie lips for over 30 years, we are also a family business with deep appreciation of our country’s iconic flora and fauna.
The toll the bushfires took on our unique animals and their habitats last summer is going to take years to recover from.
Here at CARMEX we wanted to help! And so we created this very special edition of our popular Classic Squeeze Tube.
65 cents from every special edition pack sold will be donated to these very deserving charities.
We have selected three amazing organisations to contribute to, with a focus on land regeneration, habitat protection, the nationwide Koala programme, and Australia's National Parks. Click on the links to find out more about the great work they do.
Look for the packs in store at Coles and Woolworths supermarkets nationwide, or purchase from our NEW online store now.
You don't have to do anything other than enjoy smooth, hydrated lips, but by picking up this special edition pack you are helping our wonderful wildlife come back from a devastating time.
Our selected charities
Foundation for Australia’s Most Endangered Species
Since 1993, the Foundation for Australia’s Most Endangered Species (FAME) has worked to help preserve Australia’s unique biodiversity and carefully selects projects to ensure funds are used in the most effective way possible.
Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife
The charity partner of Australia’s National Parks, their focus is on protecting Australia’s eco-systems and native species. Their current project called ‘Healing our land’ is focused on restoring and replacing natural habitats damaged by the bushfires including establishing bushfire recovery tree nurseries and habitat restoration for the Black Glossy Cockatoo and Koala’s.
The Australian Koala Foundation
The Australian Koala Foundation is an international non-profit scientific organisation that aims to diminish the threats to the survival of koalas and in doing so raise the awareness of the global community to help save endangered fauna and flora. With increasing warnings that Koala’s face extinction in our lifetimes their “no tree no me” message needs every assistance possible.
